About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is Molly Saunders and I am a native Vermonter, a cat mom and an art lover! I am 31 years old. Ever since I was young I have loved to draw and create. As a child, I regularly spent hours upon hours making cards for my family, just to make them happy. It was a favorite pastime.

As I got older, I began to struggle with depression and anxiety. Art became an escape and a coping skill. Throughout my early adulthood years, I battled suicidal thoughts and throughout my 20’s, I spent a good deal of time in the hospital. While I was in the hospital, I discovered art therapy, and I began to realize the power that my art held. I can draw the world I want with paper, pencils, markers, and my imagination. I can inspire and uplift myself and others. I can share a little bit of the love that I feel with my community. I can connect with those around me.

I mainly use permanent markers to create my drawings. Permanent markers are my favorite medium because the colors are bright, cheerful and vivid! I love drawing animals, trees, and other nature scenes, and I enjoy incorporating inspirational quotes into my artwork as well! I believe in love, kindness, and universal human rights. I try to convey messages of love and kindness in my drawings. I hope that my drawings will bring you as much happiness and joy as they bring me to create them!

Please send me a message if you are interested in purchasing cards or prints of my art, or if you have any questions or comments! Greeting cards are $4 each and prints vary in price by size.
